Spring in a Glass

Purely Refreshing Lilac Lemonade

May is a magical month, with the air filled with the fragrance of lilacs and the promise of endless days by the lake. This time of the year, although brief, is precious—a time to savour all of nature's delicate offerings. Lilacs, with their clusters of sweetly fragrant petals, fill the air with a perfume that is unmistakenly spring - A time when we emerge from winter to once again enjoy the warmth and beauty of the outdoors in Muskoka.

Lilac Lemonade - Pure Muskoka

What better way to capture some of that magic, than to craft some excellent Pure Muskoka Lilac Lemonade? This refreshing drink blends the tartness of fresh lemons with the sweet, floral notes of lilac blossoms. An excellent dock sipper or cocktail mixer!

Start with 1.5 litres of cold water, mix in the juice of two lemons and four tablespoons of simple syrup (or maple syrup works nicely, too!). Carefully shake and rinse two lilac heads, then add them to the pitcher. Let the mixture infuse overnight, pour over ice and enjoy.

Cheers!

Fantastic. We are located at 8 Manitoba Street. Right at the bottom of the hill on the main street by the falls.
